Of course, Lord Disick’s rise to stardom began when his tumultuous relationship with Kourtney Kardashian became a major focal point on the reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
For years, all fans of the show could ever talk about was the messy dynamic between the long-standing couple. But now that Kourtney has moved on with Travis Scott, viewers can’t help but side-eye how close Scott and Khloe have gotten over the years.

Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick are so close as of late, that it’s hard to believe at one point the two were practically sworn enemies. At least on Khloe’s end, she had a really hard time getting on board with Scott becoming such a major part of the Kar-Jenner’s lives, and didn’t like the idea of Kourtney being in a relationship with someone who simply couldn’t get their act together.
But Scott doesn’t reserve any hard feelings over Khloe’s initial lack of acceptance towards him. “I just was not a great person,” the Reality Star admits of his earlier days on Keeping Up With The Kardashians during his recent guest appearance on Khloe’s Podcast.
But over time, the dynamic between Khloe and Scott shifted in more ways than one. All at once, a totally unexpected friendship bloomed between the two, to the point where the reality stars were attached at the hip. In fact, the pair got so close that tabloids and fans alike began to speculate that the two were secretly dating behind Kourtney’s back.
In response to these wild rumors, Khloe and Scott were snapped by paparazzi hand in hand, as they walked around town. All at once, pictures of the two of them appearing as a couple began swarming online, leading people to believe they were secretly dating. But as both Reality Stars revealed in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, this was all an elaborate prank to troll the tabloids over the absurd rumors about their relationship. (Honestly, they schooled us with that one.)

After years of speculation that the two are secretly more than just friends, the besties decided to address the romantic theories that have been stirring up for years between them, once and for all. While making a guest star appearance on the Khloe in Wonderland podcast, Khloe told Scott that the number one question people asked ahead of his episode appearance was why they aren’t married to each other already. Fans also kept asking if the two were secretly hooking up.
But despite how much Koko and The Lord adore each other, they were both quick to put these rumors to bed. “We’re not soulmates,” Scott clarified over the speculation that the two are meant to be. “Like, bro. I have children with her sister.” He adds, “The fact that people think that is psychotic.”
Yet despite how strange he finds the speculation, he says he understands why people would want to play up their relationship for entertainment purposes.
And as for Khloe? “It’s psychotic,” she agrees.

At one point, Khloe Kardashian was so upset with the romance rumors floating between her and Scott Disick, that she felt no choice but to clap back at an Instagram user who speculated on the seemingly amorous nature of their relationship (per Us Weekly.) The Reality Star said, “I feel sad for you because apparently you don’t have relationships in your life that can be completely platonic. You don’t have relationships where someone genuinely loves and cares about you without wanting anything else besides a friendship.”
She continued, saying, “Scott and I are family. Our family (Scott included) have experienced a ton together and we love each other fiercely because of it all.”
