Coming off from a highly successful debut EP ‘Dusk’, Dutch trio, Drove have already garnered massive following with consistently brilliant records, backed by the Martin Garrix led, STMPD Records imprint.
The trio seems to have carved a niche for their unique brand of deep melodic house music with dramatic fervour, while yet conforming to the dance floor rhythmic vibe. Having collaborated with Dillon Francis on the mammoth ‘Places’, the trio is fast rising to establish themselves as dance music’s favourite deep house band!
Their new single, ‘Peace of Mind’, released on 28th May, 2021, is a testament to their talent and production capabilities, with major similarities or a signature sound, if you will, to their past production exploits. Having turned more than a few heads on ‘Dusk’, ‘Peace of Mind’ is a strong follow up as the lead single of their upcoming EP.
‘Peace of Mind’ begins with powerful synth stabs and eclectic harmonies, leading to an enigmatic vocal and a dreamy chorus that makes for an ideal ‘drive’ vibe. We’re particularly a fan of the smooth blending of various elements, which seem to be in abundance, be it dreamy arps, synths or even the beautiful pads coming together to blend into an overwhelming experience!
Drove casts a canvas of a dreamy excursion for their fans, with their unique brand of music. Definitely a band to look out for in the coming months!
