As the recent release from DJ Snake, Taki Taki which features Cardi B, Ozuna, and Selena Gomez is topping the charts, he creates another record on Spotify, joining the league of artists like Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and the Chainsmokers.
Yes, DJ Snake just became the fifth artist ever, to have two tracks that have amassed a billion Spotify streams each. The 2016 Justin Bieber collaboration – Let Me Love You just surpassed the billion stream mark, making history. The single also has a mammoth 600+ million views on YouTube. The earlier song for which DJ Snake got a billion streams was the massive Major Lazer and MØ collaboration, Lean On.
As this happens, DJ Snake will release an official music video for Taki Taki, that has only been announced through a teaser so far. The music video is directed by Colin Tilley who also created DJ Khaled and Rihanna’s Wild Thoughts, and will be out on the 9th of October.
