EPIC Radio show has been silent since December 2019 and there was no word from Eric Prydz until recently, when the Mouseville boss announced the return of his Beats 1 Radio Show and dropped the first episode.
The radio show was tightly packed with some exclusive Cirez D, Pryda and Eric Prydz content alongside exclusives from various artists such as Charles D, Kaiserdisco etc.
The show made its mark with an unreleased 2005 mix of “Seadweller and went on to premiere some heavy atmospheric IDs from his Cirez D moniker. These IDs were first premiered during Eric’s printworks set and Tomorrowland 2019. Eric also premiered his collaboration with Acki Kokotos, titled “The Day After Tomorrow”, which is a cheeky follow up to their previous collaboration “Tomorrow”.
In the latter half of the set, Eric Prydz belted out some good Techno records which were from various artists like Ignacio Arfeli, Charles D etc. Eric also included his famed ID from 2011 in the mix and gave it out as a free download. The record is named “The Gift” and Eric certainly had a few things to say about it.
“I’ve been waiting for the right time to give this track away for free. I promised to do that probably a few years ago actually, but I just wanted to wait for the right time. And I just feel that now when we’re all home at sitting on lockdown everyone needs a gift.”
This is the start of another edition of the previously running EPIC Radio series, so keep a lookout for more of these in the coming weeks. For now, check out the new EPIC Radio episode.
