Fyre Festival: Seth Rogen is making a parody film on the disastrous festival

EDM News

The Fyre Festival has been in the conversations on the web recently, owing to its release on Netflix!

Apart from Netflix Hulu has also released a documentary on the disastrous Fyre festival. Who knew that this disastrous event would also get a studio film? Yes, Seth Rogen and the Lonely Island are working together on creating a parody film.

We came to know that Seth Rogen and The Lonely Island i.e. Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone are developing a film about the horribly gone wrong festival when Lonely island tweeted about suing ‘Fyre Festival’.

This led to Seth Rogen unfold that they are working on a movie together. To this Taccone said ‘I don’t want to divulge all the details but, we’re figuring it out right now. You’ve seen the docs, right? It’s crazy. This is something that Akiva and Seth cooked up, and we’re figuring it all out right now.’

There were also stories about Andy King willing to ‘Suck Dick’ to get Evian water to the festival. Taccone has added to this by confirming he is a big fan of Andy King, and that he would hire that dude for anything as he is a champion.

In one of the interviews with Netflix after the documentary aired, Andy has himself admitted that he ‘didn’t want to be known as the Blowjob King of the World,’ but he did enjoy the memes people have cleverly created online for him.

Well, we definitely think, with Seth Rogen and The Lonely Island coming together in addition to the very chill Andy king, this parody is going to be nothing short of a rave.

We can’t wait! Don’t forget to tell us how excited you are for this!

Apart from building brands in advertising, I love to collaborate with artists and musicians across the globe to create content and tell their stories to the world. Dance music for me has a way of understanding people’s emotions and it also inspires them to break through any barrier to create something beyond their goals.
