Tim is never out of the news, even after more than a year post his shocking death.
His music still lives on in the form of the release of his posthumous album, “TIM”.
“Tough Love” comes as the second release from the album and is made in collaboration with Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir, who have worked with Avicii on tracks like “Silhouettes”, “Hey Brother”, and “Without You”.
What makes this track special to Indians is the fact that Tim has largely made use of Indian musical elements, which was influenced by his study on the music of northwest India.
Having finished the track by almost 80% before his death, Avicii had set out a clear path as to how he wanted the song to be. “This one needs to be a duet,” Avicii had written in his notes while working on the track. “Coolest thing would be a real couple. Or a couple that has worked together enough to be almost considered a couple!”
Post the success of “SOS”, the first one from the album, this is much awaited and we’re sure it’ll create huge waves! We wish the single immense success and hope that the proceeds from this make a huge impact in all the efforts of the Tim Bergling Foundation.
