Friction

An artist like Friction needs little introduction. The Brighton based extraordinaire is perhaps one of the most important drum & bass artists at the moment.

Cutting his teeth in the drum & bass UK underground of the early 2000’s, Friction’s build from one of the most passionate, most technically skilled DJ’s into an all-around anthem producing artist has been relentless.

Today he co-owns the globally renowned Shogun Audio label, Elevate Records, Maraki Records (his latest venture with My Nu Leng) along with managing one of the most grueling DJ schedules in the game week in week out.

He is known for remixing high profile artists and having remixed the likes of Childish Gambino, Maverick Sabre and Feed Me, his remix CV has continuously evolved and right after delivering a stunning remix of Fatboy Slim’s seminal hit ‘Right Here Right Now’, Friction has delivered yet another heavyweight remix for The Prodigy.

Maintaining the signature hard-hitting Prodigy vibe, Friction has given his relentless touch to the tune which is packed with weighty solid drum kicks. The tantalizing breakdown allows us to catch our breath whilst we brace ourselves for a ferocious second drop. Absolute stomper.
